Rupert Adcock: Managing Director

As a BA Hons graduate in Business Studies at Coventry University, Rupert interned at Eastman Kodak in their marketing department, starting his career in recruitment at EMDS Consulting in 1996. During his 7 years at EMDS, he designed international recruitment programmes for multinational companies, launched the AfricaManagers and AsiaManagers recruiting initiatives, which became globally recognised brands, helped open and manage EMDS offices across both Africa and Asia Pacific and develop international operations outside Europe.

Rupert left his position as Managing Director in 2002 to create Global Career Company.

Rupert, a keen sportsman in his spare time and father of two young children, has a passion for international recruitment, loves travel, exploring markets and cultures new to him and his family, and enjoys the many challenges that he has faced since Global Career Company was formed. His objective is to develop a truly international recruitment company and develop Global Career Company as a global brand.

Sarah Roe: Director

As a graduate of African and Asian studies at Sussex University, Sarah has always had a passion for travel and a desire to work in a truly international environment. She began her career in the recruitment advertising industry working with a number of leading agencies. She then moved into international recruitment with EMDS Consulting, specialising in the African and Asian markets, where she worked with a number of blue-chip organisations developing their international graduate and MBA programmes.

In January 2003, Sarah became a Director of Global Career Company where she works with Rupert and the rest of the team to develop its international recruitment proposition.

Sarah is enjoying the ongoing challenges of growing and developing the team at Global Career Company and enjoys working with such a diverse cultural group of clients. In her spare time, Sarah loves to entertain friends and spend time with her family.
